Top Scorer Price Back in Port Huron

The Port Huron Prowlers have re-signed their 2025-26 leading scorer Bobby Price the team announced Sunday. Price led the Prowlers in goals and tied for the team lead in points last season.

2025-26 was the Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan native’s first full pro campaign. He began playing four SPHL games with the Macon Mayhem, and recorded one assist, before returning to Port Huron for the rest of the year. Price put up 29 goals and 52 points in 48 games for the Prowlers including six power play goals, six game winners and the team’s only two shorthanded goals. He also put his name in the franchise record books by scoring four goals on March 27 against the Watertown Wolves; tied for the most in a single game ever by a Prowler. Price added five points in six playoff games on two goals and three assists.

“Having Bobby return is huge for our group,” said Prowlers general manager Matt Graham. “He’s a dynamic player that dominates all situations. We are excited to see his development take yet another step. Returning so many guys from last season just goes to show how hungry this room is to win. We have put ourselves in a great position to start the season, but that’s just the beginning. There’s still a lot of work to do.”

The 26-year-old was a collegiate signing by Port Huron near the end of the 2024-25 season coming off of his final year at Trine University where he was serving as the captain. After turning pro, he had eight points in six games before tying for the FPHL lead in playoff goals with five. Price played four years at Trine and graduated second in program history in games played, goals and points.

“I’m blessed to have the opportunity to run it back with the boys for another year,” Price said. “I’m looking forward to seeing all the boys and the greatest fans in the league. We have one mission this year and we have the men to do it. Let’s get the cup. The price is right in Port Huron!”
